Alumni HONORS Reception

Each year the San Diego State University and University of San Diego members of Mortar Board are invited to attend the  Alumni Honors Reception, which is held to honor distinguished alumni and oustanding community members. A highlight of the event is the awarding of $15,000 in scholarship to students pursuing further discipline through graduate school.  In 2019, we honored Mary Ruth Carleton, Past SDSU Vice President of University Relations and Development, with the Mortar Board Distinguished Alumna Award.
